A repeat domestic violence offender was indicted again by a Hancock County grand jury on Tuesday.

Robert D. Van Atta, 48, of Findlay, was charged with domestic violence, a third-degree felony, for allegedly harming a woman on Oct. 21 in Findlay.

Van Atta was indicted on the same charge in July for another alleged incident involving the same woman.

He has two previous domestic violence convictions in Hancock County Common Pleas Court, and convictions in Findlay Municipal Court.

In other indictments, Treg E. Wells Jr., 29, of Findlay, was charged with domestic violence, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly harming a woman on Oct. 24 in Findlay.

Stoney A. Dendinger, 33, of Findlay, was charged with improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony, and having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony. Dendinger, who was convicted of domestic violence in Seneca County in 2011, allegedly had a loaded handgun in his vehicle on Oct. 23 in Findlay.

Jeremy A. Finigan Sr., 40, of Columbus, was charged with improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony, for allegedly having a loaded handgun accessible in his vehicle on Oct. 25 in Madison Township.

Michael A. Morton, 30, of Marshall, Illinois, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse, or a combination of them, a third-degree felony. The charge stems from an Oct. 28 incident in Findlay. Morton was convicted of aggravated driving under the influence of drugs in Illinois in 2011.

Erika S. Gray, 28, of Toledo, was indicted on two counts of theft, both fifth-degree felonies, for an alleged incident Jan. 14 involving another woman’s debit card and Speedway credit card.

Travis E. Thomas, 52, of Findlay, was indicted for failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony, for missing an Oct. 15 court date in a methamphetamine possession case.

Tyler M. Dukes, 25, of Carey, was charged with failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony, after missing court Oct. 31 in a heroin and MDMA possession case.

Nine people were indicted on drug possession charges.

Jerrod R. Mills, 38, of Taylor, Michigan, was indicted for aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony, and possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. Mills allegedly had between five and 50 times the bulk amount of methamphetamine and less than 5 grams of cocaine on Nov. 3 in Bluffton.

Jeffery R. Fout, 40, address unknown, was charged with possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly having less than 1 gram of the drug on Aug. 3 in Findlay.

Todd R. Chisholm, 51, of Findlay, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly having a synthetic cannabinoid on May 10 in Findlay.

Dakota L. Simon, 23, of Findlay, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly having a synthetic cannabinoid on the same date in Findlay.

Boyd C. Lewis, 33, of Findlay, was indicted on two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, one fifth-degree felony and one third-degree felony. He allegedly possessed methamphetamine on June 23 and Oct. 26 in Findlay.

Chad U. Hughes, 42, of Findlay, was charged with two counts of possession of cocaine, both fifth-degree felonies, for allegedly possessing less than 5 grams of cocaine on May 10 and June 29 in Findlay.

Michael P. Morgan, 44, of Findlay, was indicted for possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly having less than 5 grams of the drug on May 25 in Findlay.

Jeffrey T. Decker, 35, of Findlay, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing oxycodone on Nov. 18, 2018, in Bluffton.

Neil J. Walker, 39, of Columbus, was indicted for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly having methamphetamine on March 20 in Allen Township.
