INDIANAPOLIS — The University of Findlay women’s basketball team started the fourth quarter with a 12-0 run, outscored Lewis University 22-13 in the final period and rallied for a 67-62 win over the No. 20-ranked Flyers in a GLIAC/GLVC Crossover game played Sunday in Indianapolis.

UF trailed 32-24 at the half but quickly tied the game on back-to-back 3-pointers by Karli Bonar and a driving lay-up by Ottawa-Glandorf graduate Elissa Ellerbrock. Bonar finished with 11 points, Christa Puthoff had eight and Ellerbrock tossed in seven. The Oilers got game-highs of 12 points and eight rebounds off the bench by Anna Hintz in evening their record at 1-1.

Lewis (1-1) got a game-high 24 points from Jamie Johnson.
