NAPOLEON — Patrick Henry’s boys bowling team advanced to next week’s district tournament with a fourth-place finish in Friday’s Division II sectional tournament at River City Bowl-A-Way.
Two Ottawa-Glandorf bowlers also advanced as individual to the district tourney next weekend at Rossford’s Interstate Lanes.
The top four teams and top four individuals not on a qualifying team made the district tourney.
Patrick Henry advanced with the slimmest of margins as the Patriots bowled a 3,740 score to edge Ottawa-Glandorf by a single pin. Bryan (4,160), Eastwood (4,087) and Napoleon (3,830) placed first through third.
Zach Moehrman (196-205-189–590) led the Patriots. Collin Johnson (158-142-224–524), Wyatt Williams (159-161-201–521), Aidan Breece (140-167-211–518) and Tanner VandeBussche (142-178-169–489) also competed for the Patriots.
Ottawa-Glandorf’s Cody Johns (202-188-189–579) and Jarrett Johns (199-172-205–576) advances as individuals. Bryan’s Tycen Odgen (236-228-229–693) was the tourney’s top individual.
