MOUNT VICTORY — North Baltimore jumped on Ridgemont for six runs in the first inning before adding six more in the fourth on its way to a 15-5 five-inning nonconference softball win over the Gophers on Saturday.

Katelyn Weinandy got the win for the Tigers (6-1) as she helped her own cause with a two-run homer.

Mia McCartney added a pair of doubles with two RBIs, Paige Hyatt hammered a grand slam and Hannah Lord added a single and double with two RBIs. Teammate Chloe Hopple stroked a pair of singles for North Baltimore.

Shauna Richardson had three singles and Kaylie Eversole doubled and singled for Ridgemont (4-7).
