TOLEDO — The temperature was frigid but Findlay High’s boys tennis team was red hot on Tuesday when the Trojans dropped just two games in five matches in sweeping Toledo Whitmer in a Three Rivers Athletic Conference match.

Findlay won all three singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Drew Swisher beat Whitmer’s Cameron Ricker in the No. 1 spot, Logan Tichenor blanked Reyes Garcia at No. 2, and Jason Tornes stepped in at No. 3 and shut out Dane Dreyer.

Findlay, 7-2 overall and 4-1 in TRAC matches, dominated the doubles matches as well, with Alec Kagy and Sam Giedeman beating Andrew Fischer and Nic Pitzen 6-0, 6-1 and Blake Gray and Evan Gephart flipping that score in a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Zach Pauwels and Jacob Hernandez.

Whitmer, 1-6 overall, fell to 0-4 in the TRAC.
