A scorecard playoff decided two of the four winners and the other two titles were won by a single stroke during a soggy but highly competitive day of golf at Monday’s 29th annual Julie Cole Charity Classic at the Findlay Country Club.

Two teams posted scores of 55 in the four-person scramble event. A scorecard playoff gave the team of Tim Griffith, Tyler Riley, Lindsey McPherson and Cindy Clark first place in the first flight over Hardy Hartzell, Tim Mayle, Blake Tucker and Andrew Berenzweig.

It also took a scorecard playoff for Roger Barton, Suzie Reineke, Greg Dell and Tom Reineke to win the fourth flight over Steve Bogart, Nate Webster, Laura Fisher and Ben Smith. Both teams shot 68.

A 61 by the team of Scott Keller, Jeff Bova, Joe Busey and Blaine Wells gave them a one-stroke second flight victory over Mike Needler Jr., Mike Needler Sr., Julie Anderson and Andrew Rill.

It was also a one-stroke difference in the third flight, where Bill Palmer, Ryan Vickers, Chris Keller and Craig Marshall (64) edged out the team of Trevor Schmiedebusch, Mike Weissling, Aaron Reese and Troy Martin (65).
