BILLINGS, Montana — In his second consecutive scoreless appearance for the Billings Mustangs, Connor Curlis earned his first professional victory on Thursday.

The Findlay High graduate tossed 21/3 innings allowing one hit with four strikeouts for the Cincinnati Reds’ short-season Rookie League affiliate in the Pioneer League.

The win followed another scoreless two innings five days prior after allowing six earned runs in his first four professional apperances.

Through seven minor league appearances and 91/3 innings, Curlis has a 5.75 earned run average with 13 strikeouts.
