HARROD — Five Liberty-Benton golfers made the all-tournament team as the Eagles rolled to the team crown at Tuesday’s Allen East Invitational at Colonial Golfers Club.

Michael Kotey (75), Patrick Streacker (78), Noah Brand (79), Seth Lasiter (80) and Logan Kizer (80) made the all-tournament team for Liberty-Benton as the Eagles outscored Kalida 312-329 for the team title.

Miller City (369) was eighth, Bluffton (371) was ninth, McComb (374) 12th, Carey (387) 13th and Arcadia (399), Columbus Grove (400) and Van Buren (404) were 16th through 18th respectively.

Kalida’s Christian Nartker also made the all-tournament team as he was the medalist with a 73. Josh Recker added an 82 for the Wildcats.

Holliday shoots 76

SWANTON — Findlay High School’s Chloe Holliday put together another solid outing as she led the Trojans at Tuesday’s White Pines Invitational.

Holliday carded a 76 to finish just one stroke behind medalist Molly Bennet of Toledo St. Ursula.

Toledo St. Ursula won the team title with a 322. Findlay was ninth with 405 strokes.

Carsyn Kouns backed Holliday with a 101. Cate Rummel shot a 109 and Sydney Eynon added a 119 to complete the scoring for Findlay.

Cameron Heiserman (109) and Abby Powell (142) also played for the Trojans.

PH ends up 2nd

DEFIANCE — Patrick Henry scored wins in three matches as the Patriots finished second in the inaugural Henry County Invitational at Auglaize Golf Club.

Napoleon won the match-play event with an 81/2-71/2 margin over the Patriots. Liberty Center (4) was third and Holgate (2) ended up fourth.

Patrick Henry’s No. 1 player Kaiden McGraw stopped Napoleon’s Landon Willeman in an 18-hole match for two of the Patriots’ points.

Kenton Shoemaker stopped Holgate’s Joey Kelly, Clay Schwiebert downed Liberty Center’s Sam Raby, Natalie Nelson won against Liberty Center’s Cole Zeitler, David Baden and Aidan Breece both beat Liberty Center’s Maz Weaver in 9-hole matches to complete the scoring for Patrick Henry.

Drumm finishes 2nd

NEW WASHINGTON — Mohawk’s Logan Drumm just missed winning the medalist award as he led the Warriors’ boys golf team at Tuesday’s Buckeye Central Invitational at Cranberry Hills Golf Course.

Drumm shot a 42-37–79 to lead the Warriors and finish just one stroke behind winner Alex Forehand of Seneca East.

Evan Kuenzli (106), Reese Hannam (109) and Owen England (123) finished the scoring for the Warriors.

Seneca East edged River Valley 347-348 for the team title. Mohawk finished seventh in the 9-team field with 429 strokes.
