OREGON — Noah Brand and Logan Kizer both shot 81s to power Liberty-Benton’s boys golf team to its fourth straight tournament title at Thursday’s Tom Pickerel Genoa Bank Tournament at the Maumee Bays State Park Golf Course.

Luke Sunderman shot an 84 and Michael Kotey added an 85 to complete the team scoring for Liberty-Benton. Seth Lasiter (86) and Patrick Streacker (90) also played for the Eagles.

Liberty-Benton finished with a 331-337 margin over second-place Genoa.

The Comets’ Ethan Smith was the medalist with a 74.

Holliday shoots 76

OREGON — Chloe Holliday fired another sub-80 round for Findlay High School’s golf team as the Trojans competed in a Three Rivers Athletic Conference match at Eagles Landing Golf Club.

Holliday shot a 76 and Carsyn Kouns added a 96 as the Trojans finished with a score of 406. Cate Rummel and Sydney Eynon were next as each shot a 117.

Cameron Heiserman (127) and Abby Powell (131) also played for Findlay.

Team scores from the event were unavailable.

Kalida 2nd at Paulding

DEFIANCE — Kalida’s Christian Nartker was second with a 73 to lead the Wildcats’ boys golf team to second at Thursday’s Paulding Invitational at Auglaize Golf Club.

Nartker helped the Wildcats finish second in the team standings. Archbold topped Kalida 317-323 for first place. Patrick Henry was eighth with 356 strokes.

Josh Recker shot a 77, Ryan Klausing fired an 85 and Alec Edelbrock added an 88 to complete the scoring for Kalida.

Kaiden McGraw put together another solid outing to lead the Patriots as he finished in a tie for Nartker for second place at 73. Clay Schwiebert (85), Kenton Shoemaker (96) and Aidan Breece closed the scoring for the Patriots.

Archbold’s Connor Shirkey was the medalist with a 70.

Bushong leads Arlington

LIMA — Arlington’s Will Bushong finished in a tie for eighth place individually to lead the Red Devils’ boys golf team at Thursday’s Rob Contini Memorial Tournament hosted by Lima Central Catholic.

Bushong finished with an 86. Austin Rausch (91), Ewan Martin (102) and Garner Anderson (106) rounded out the top four golfers for Arlington.

Spencerville outscored Lima Shawnee 331-337 for the team championship. Arlington was fifth in the seven-team field with a 385.

Spencerville’s Ethan Harmon was the medalist with a 78.

Mohawk girls finish 2nd

NEW WASHINGTON — Hayden Heilman finished fifth with a score of 111 to lead Mohawk’s girls team to second place at Thursday’s Buckeye Central Invitational at Cranberry Hills Golf Course.

The host Buckettes won the tournament with a 414. Buckeye Central was next with a 453.

Alayna Kindle scored a 112, Madison Wagner added a 113 and Carlee Hummel chipped in a 117 for the Warriors.

Upper Sandusky finished fifth in the team standings with a 516. Katie Clark (117), Hally Courtad (121), Olivia Barth (135) and Kendra Conley (143) completed the scoring for the Rams.
