GALION — Upper Sandusky did not have an answer for Galion’s Devin McCarthy on Tuesday as he scored four times to lead the Tigers to a 4-3 nonleague win.

Luke Amert, Ross Swinehart and Jaidyn Thiel scored a goal apiece to lead the Rams (2-5-1). Anson Hill made six saves and Caleb Healea led with a pair of assists.

Stephen Thompson tallied eight saves for Galion (1-1-1).

Findlay and Oregon Clay were deadlocked in a scoreless tie at halftime on Tuesday. But the Eagles scored three times to start the second half en route to a 3-1 Three Rivers Athletic Conference win at Elmer Graham Stadium.

Austin Murphy, Keeghan Calkins and Skylar Mays each scored a goal for Clay (3-1, 2-0 TRAC), while Roger Warner assisted on the first two goals.

Carson Dale buried the lone goal for the Trojans (2-3, 0-2), who doubled up the Eagles in shots on goal, 26-13, and attempted 14 corner kicks.

Brady Shenise paced Findlay’s defense with 15 intercepts and five steals. Nolan Clouse added 10 intercepts and Kevin Kuhn made three saves.

MILLBURY — Riverdale goalkeeper Ethan Shane needed to stop only one shot as the Falcons blanked Lake on Tuesday in a nonconference boys soccer match.

Jackson Clark recorded a goal and an assist for Riverdale (3-2-1), which outshot the Flyers 15-1.

Ryder Egbert, Brayden Courtney and Coby Miller also found the net for the Falcons, who also got an assist apiece from Drew Frey and Logan Frey.

Simon Derstine buried a pair of goals to lead the Pirates (4-1-1), who fired 13 shots on goal. Jayden Mays, Isaiah Schwab and Jackson Steinmetz each added a goal and Dakota Clymer made two saves.

Luke Young and Jude Spallinger added an assist apiece for Bluffton.

Payne Harshbarger scored for the Redskins (3-2).

Konnor Okuley scored twice for the Pirates (2-1), both in the game’s first 13 minutes, and Cole Bowers scored with 15:21 to play in the first half. Trevor Brecht made five saves.

Joshua Engle, 1:10 after Okuley’s first goal, scored for Temple Christian. Cody Motter saved five of eight Continental shots.

Neither team scored in the final 40 minutes.

MILLER CITY — Elida jumped to a 5-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 7-1 win over Miller City on Tuesday in a nonlegue boys soccer contest.

Seth Mahlmeister scored three goals for Elida. Max Parker, Logan Johnson, Corbin Fingerk and Dylan Kendall added one each for the unbeaten Bulldogs, who outshot Miller City 20-8 in improving to 3-0-1.

Miller City (1-5) avoided the shutout when Isaac Fillinger found the back of the net at the 10:05 mark of the second half.
