OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Taylor Alt and Erica Annesser combined for 22 kills and 24 digs on Tuesday in leading the Titans’ unbeaten volleyball team to a 25-17, 25-12, 25-16 nonleague win over Findlay.

Alt, a 6-foot-1 junior who has made a verbal commitment to attend the University of Toledo, had 14 kills, 13 digs and three solo blocks for O-G. Annesser had eight kills and 11 digs, Claire Eiden had 23 digs and five ace serves and Kendra Ellerbrock had a team-high 20 assists.

O-G improved to 6-0 on the season. The Titans, who have won outright or shared five of the last six Western Buckeye League championships, will host Lima Bath in a league match on Thursday.

Claire Bishop led Findlay with 10 digs. Grace Blatnik was 10 of 10 serving for the Trojans (0-5).

GENOA — Fostoria’s Tyriana Settles and Mary Harris combined for 36 kills on Tuesday and Dakota Thomas reached a career milestine in assists as the unbeaten Redmen rolled to a 25-10, 25-16, 25-12 Northern Buckeye Conference volleyball win over Genoa.

Settles was 41 for 47 spiking with 25 kills and 18 digs and Harris was 20 for 26 spiking with 11 kills and 12 digs.

Thomas recorded her 1,000th career assist late in the first set. The senior was 100 for 103 setting overall and finished the night with 45 assists, boosting her career total to 1,026.

Baleigh Robinson added seven digs, six ace serves and five kills for Fostoria. Meredith Grine had 10 digs in helping the Redmen improve to 3-0 in NBC play and 8-0 overall.

COLUMBUS GROVE — Columbus Grove’s Rylee Sybert did a bit of everything in Tuesday’s 25-14, 25-9, 25-23 Putnam County League volleyball win over Continental.

Putting her name in the school record books topped the list.

Sybert, a senior three-year letter winner for the Bulldogs, was 43 for 44 setting with 17 assists. Those 17 assists gave her 1,224 for her career, surpassing the previous school record of 1,217 held by 2009 Grove graduate Erica Glass.

Sybert was also 13 for 13 serving with nine points and 18 for 22 spiking with nine kills and 12 digs.

Haley Radabaugh was 24 for 30 spiking with 12 kills and Amy Vorst was 13 for 13 serving with seven points and two aces, 21 for 21 passing and 12 for 12 setting with a team-high 15 digs.

NEW RIEGEL — Jenna Clouse and Grace Wasserman combined for 26 kills as Old Fort remained in a tie for first place in the Sandusky Bay Conference River Division with a 25-23, 25-1, 25-10 volleyball victory over previously unbeaten New Riegel on Tuesday night.

Clouse put away 15 kills and Wasserman deposited 11 as the Stockaders improved to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the River Division.

Madison Guth tallied 29 assists and three aces, and Morgan Miller and Ashlyn Magers made 17 digs apiece for Old Fort.

Christen Hohman notched 11 kills and 12 digs for the Blue Jackets (6-1, 2-1 SBC), who also got 10 kills, four aces and four blocks from Kaitlyn Kirian, and 17 assists and 11 digs from Aubrey Bouillon.

Alaina Tiell and Sadie Arend added eight kills apiece, and Row and Ellison Roark finished with eight digs for Carey (2-5).

BUCYRUS — Mohawk nearly won an entire set on service aces as the Warriors swept Bucyrus 25-10, 25-10, 25-11 in Tuesday’s Northern 10 Conference match.

Kaylee Ward’s seven aces paced Mohawk, which totaled 24 aces, while Alexa Konkle and Madi Chester each tallied five. The Warriors improved to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the N10. Chester led Mohawk with 14 kills, Konkle had 29 assists and Aubrey Margraf’s 11 digs were a team-high.

Bucyrus dropepd to 2-7, 0-4 in the conference.

BLUFFTON — Hannah Willow and Kyra Bormuth served a combined 10 aces as Arlington torched Bluffton 25-9, 25-11, 25-12 in Tuesday’s nonleague volleyball match.

WIllow led the unbeaten Red Devils (8-0) with five aces and five kills. Bormuth added five aces on 15 of 16 serving and Abbie Sheets added four kills with five digs. Lindsay Dodds chipped in 16 assists.

The Pirates dropped to 1-5 with the loss.

Quinley Schlagbaum had 11 kills, 27 digs and three aces for the Big Green. Kylee Hoersten added 41 assists and 15 digs, and Sydney Brinkman had 17 digs.
