MOUNT BLANCHARD — Carey’s Sarah Reinhart and Hopewell-Loudon’s Jordan Foster won individual titles and led their respective schools to team championships at Thursday’s Riverdale Invitational.

Reinhart won the girls race in a time of 21:22.11 to help Carey outscore Hopewell-Loudon 41-47 in the girls race. Riverdale (63)was third, North Baltimore (75) finished fourth and McComb (158) ended up sixth.

The host Falcons had a pair of top 10 finishers in Juleigha Collier (2nd, 21:35.07) and Kendra Collier (4th, 22:01.32).

Van Buren’s Justine Hunt (3rd, 21:41.84) and Ella Webster (10th, 23:47.81) finished among the leaders as did Carey’s Keely Wentz (6th, 22:46.51) and Nellie Bianchi (8th, 23:18.1), Hopewell-Loudon’s Renae Kapelka (7th, 22:53.16) and Taylor Leiter (9th, 23:37.11) and North Baltimore’s Caitlin Schwartz (5th, 22:36.40).

Foster (17:48.33), Carter Ritchey (17:59.28) and Trey Masterson (18:16.33) claimed the top three spots in the boys race as the Chieftains easily topped runner up Elmwood 22-102 for the boys team crown. Hardin Northern (134) was third while McComb (4th, 142 points), Ada (5th, 154), Van Buren (6th, 163), North Baltimore (7th, 165), Carey (8th, 171), Bluffton (9th, 192) also competed.

Hopewell-Loudon’s Caden Crawford (7th, 18:41.39) also finished in the top 10 for the Chieftains.

Other area runners in the top 10 included Ada’s Miguel Jordan (4th, 18:17.22), Riverdale’s Eli Webster (5th, 18:23.99), McComb’s Diego Escalante (6th, 18:28.49), North Baltimore’s Levi Trout (8th, 18:44.34) and Elmwood’s Trevor Bingham (9th, 18:45.86) and Cole Barton (10th, 18:52.68).
