FOSTORIA — Elmwood senior Jill Hannah reached the 1,000-dig milestone Thursday, but Fostoria won the Northern Buckeye Conference volleyball match 25-14, 25-23, 25-14.

Tyriana Settles led Fostoria (10-2, 5-1 NBC) with 26 kills. Mary Harris had 30 assists on 65 of 65 setting; Harris and Meredith Grine each had four aces; and Baleigh Robinson had three aces. Settles added six digs and two blocks.

Lizzy Hall registered eight kills and 11 digs for the Royals (3-7, 1-5 NBC), who also got 28 assists and eight digs from Madi Schroeder.

Erica Annesser led with 13 kills while Claire Eiden made a team-high 21 digs for the Titans (10-1, 3-0 WBL), ranked No. 1 in Division III.

Addilyn Diller dished out 28 assists and finished with 15 digs, and Lacie Fenstermaker added 11 kills for Pandora-Gilboa (6-3, 1-1 PCL).

Lexie White had 10 kills and 18 digs, and Ashlyn Jones had eight kills and 14 digs for Calvert (10-1, 6-0 SBC River). Emma White had four aces and 19 assists, Zoe Meyer had five blocks and Sophie Burtis added 12 assists.

Jordan Hohman led New Riegel (9-2, 4-2 SBC River) with six kills. Aubrey Bouillon had 16 assists and five kills, Madalyn Reinhart had 21 digs, and Christen Hohman and Julia Reinhart each had four kills.

HAVILAND — Ottoville’s Brynlee Hanneman and Quinley Schlagbaum both had big nights, but Wayne Trace rallied from 2-1 down to defeat the Big Green 25-23, 18-25, 11-25, 25-17, 16-14 in a nonconference match.

Hanneman had 17 kills, nine blocks and 21 digs. Schlagbaum added 12 kills, four blocks and 30 digs as Ottoville dropped to 2-8. Kylee Hoersten had 30 assists and 15 digs, Madison Averesch had 22 digs, and Taylor Beining had eight kills and five blocks.

Wayne Trace improved to 5-5.

HAMLER — Lyndie Hazelton and Selena Loredo both totaled 17 assists on a combined 72 of 72 setting as state-ranked Leipsic swept Patrick Henry 25-7, 25-17, 25-12 for a nonleague volleyball win Thursday.

Hazelton was 38 of 38 while Loredo was 34 of 34 setting.

Hayley Heitmeyer turned in 21 kills on 31 of 33 hitting for the Vikings (8-1), ranked No. 5 in Division IV.

The Patriots fell to 7-3 overall.
