DEFIANCE — Kalida junior Josh Recker was the tournament medalist with a 36-40–76 to power the Wildcats to the team championship at Saturday’s Tinora Invitational at Eagle Rock Golf Club.

Christian Nartker (81), David Peck (83), Ryan Klausing (89) and Alec Edelbrock (96) also played for Kalida as the Wildcats topped runner-up Liberty-Benton 329-339.

Seth Lasiter (81) and Luke Sunderman (82) posted the top scores for Liberty-Benton. Michael Kotey (86), Patrick Streacker (990) and Logan Kizer (92) were next for the Eagles.

Miller City (372) finished seventh, Patrick Henry (385) was 11th and Ottoville (396) ended up 12th.

Luke Lammers (96), Boyd Vance III (87), Stevan Stechschulte (98) and T.J. Michel (101) posted the top scores for Miller City.

Kaiden McGraw, again, led the way for Patrick Henry with an 85. Kenton Shoemaker (97), James Gerken (99) and Clay Schwiebert (104) rounded out the scoring for the Patriots.

Dru Hilvers (95), Carter Schnipke (96), Dylan Kemper (102) and Jack Langhals (103) were the top four scores for Ottoville.
