CONVOY — Taylor Alt was named Most Valuable Player as state-ranked Ottawa-Glandorf won all of its three matches and claimed the championship of Saturday’s Convoy Crestview Invitational.

The Titans, ranked third in the state in the latest coaches association poll, wrapped up the title with a 25-17, 25-10 whipping of Marion Local. Earlier, O-G (16-1) beat South Adams, Ind. 25-16, 25-21 and Crestview 28-16, 25-17.

Alt, a 5-foot-11 junior, ended the day with 37 kills, nine digs and six blocks. Erica Annesser compiled 21 kills, seven aces and 27 digs, while Kendra Ellerbrock recorded 35 assists and three aces and Maddie White had seven kills and 12 blocks.

Arlington (15-3) finished 1-2 in the tournament losing to Convoy Crestview 18-25, 29-27, 25-17 and South Adams 20-25, 25-19, 25-16 while beating Edison 25-13, 25-15.

Hannah Willow had 31 kills with eight blocks and 16 digs, Jenna Pepple slammed 14 kills with 19 digs and two aces and Sarah Solt netted 12 kills with two aces and Abbie Sheets hammered 11 kills with a team-best 31 digs to lead the Red Devils at the net.

Lindsay Dodds dished out 92 assists 15 digs, Morgan Wykes had 23 digs and Izzy Riegle added 13 digs for the Red Devils.

ARCADIA — Tori Green and Lea Pessell combined for 27 kills while guiding Arcadia to a 31-29, 25-18, 25-19 victory over Carey on Saturday in nonconference volleyball.

Green knocked down 14 kills to go with five blocks and Pessell recorded 13 kills as the Redskins raised their record to 14-4

Sydney Ramsey served for three aces and made 17 digs for Arcadia, and Samantha Burnett distributed 22 assists.

McKenzie Row stashed 11 kills for the Blue Devils (7-10) and Emma Wagner handed out 28 assists. Row and Makenzie Snyder came up with 10 digs apiece and Seylor Kin made five blocks.

VAN WERT — Kalida lost all of its three matches in three sets in Saturday’s Van Wert Invitational and departed the gym with its record at 6-12.

The Wildcats lost 19-25, 25-21, 25-20 to Van Wert, 25-16, 18-25, 25-14 to St. Marys Memorial and 25-12, 19-25, 25-23 to Lima Shawnee.

Morgan Mock put away 44 kills for Kalida, while Tara Gerding notched five aces and 71 assists.

Camryn Hoffman came up with 52 digs and Emily Buss made eight blocks for the Wildcats.

ARCHBOLD — Continetal’s volleyball team lost all of its three matches and headed home from Saturday’s Archbold Streak Spiketacular with its record at 4-15.

The Pirates fell 25-19, 25-10 to Pettisville before losing 25-21, 24-26, 25-19 to Hilltop and 25-27, 25-13, 25-17 to Archbold.

Tinora defeated Toledo Christian 25-12, 25-11 in the championship match. Otsego was third, followed by Pettisville, Paulding, Hilltop, Archbold and Continental.

DOLA — Addilyn Diller dished out 15 assists to go with 15 digs as Pandora-Gilboa racked up a 25-21, 25-21, 25-16 nonconference win over Hardin Northern.

Maci Fenstermaker hammered seven kills on 18 of 23 assists with two aces, Avery Zuercher had four kills on 11 of 15 attacks and Mikayla Simons chipped in three kills on 17 of 20 attacks with an ace as the Rockets improved to 7-9.

Hardin Northern fell to 6-11 with the loss.

KANSAS — Elmwood’s Madi Schroeder dished out 33 assists with six digs and three aces to power the Royals to a 25-15, 25-12, 25-15 nonconference win against Lakota.

Brooklyn Thrash and Maddie Mossbarger both had nine kills and Anna Versyer added eight kills to lead Elmwood at the net.

Jill Hannah registered 23 digs and teammate Lizzy Hall did a bit of everything as she netted 14 digs with six kills and two aces. Maddie Daniels and Kayla Minich added five digs and four kills respectively for the Royals (6-10).

Lakota’s record stands at 1-14.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Tayler Ashburn had seven kills, seven digs and a block in Riverdale’s 25-16, 28-26, 25-11 nonconference loss to Ridgedale.

Bry Vanden Bosch backed Ashburn with six kills and six digs. Tayler Yoder added 19 assists with five digs and Grace Wetherill had three kills with three aces, two digs and a block for the Falcons.

OTTOVILLE — Ottoville got strong play at the net from Quinley Schlagbaum and Brynlee Hanneman to outlast Delphos St. John’s 25-15, 23-25, 25-14, 21-25, 15-12 in nonconference play.

Schlagbaum smashed 23 kills with 18 digs, eight blocks and three aces while Hanneman chipped in 22 kills, 19 digs and five blocks to help the Big Green improve to 5-11.

Ottoville setter Kylee Hoersten had 54 assisst with 22 digs and four kills, Taylor Beining netted 11 blocks and Sydney Brinkman added 12 digs and three aces.

MONROEVILLE — Madi Chester collected 20 kills, two aces and 14 digs for Mohawk, but they weren’t enough as the Warriors fell 25-23, 28-26, 16-25, 25-22 in a battle of state-ranked Division IV teams.

The Tigers, ranked sixth in the latest coaches association poll, raised their record to 15-2, while the 10th-ranked Warriors fell to 14-2.

Kaylee Ward recorded 14 kills, four aces and 14 digs for Mohawk, while Alexa Konkle dished out 46 assists and came up with 14 digs for Mohawk.

Allison Kepling had six assists, Grace Hagemyer added two kills with a block assist and Halie Inbody had a block assist for the Tigers (2-13).
