BELLEVUE — Mason Vent scored a game-high 24 points to lead Upper Sandusky to an easy 63-44 nonconference boys basketball win over Bellevue Monday night.

Upper Sandusky (16-5) racked up a 19-7 first-quarter lead and outscored the Redmen (6-15) in every quarter the rest of the way.

Trevor Clifford chipped in 10 points for the Rams.

NORTH ROBINSON — Carey started fast but Colonel Crawford finished strong in posting a 56-45 Northern 10 Conference win over the Blue Devils on Monday.

Gavin Feichtner scored 23 points and Jordan Fenner tossed in 19 for Colonel Crawford. The Eagles (17-4, 12-3 N10) were outscored 19-11 in the first quarter and trailed 29-24 at the half, but outscored Carey 32-16 in the final 16 minutes to climb into a tie with Upper Sandusky for second place in the N10 standings.

Carey’s 6-foot-8 junior center Hayden Stone had a big night, scoring 17 points and pulling down 13 rebounds. Griffin Summit added nine points for the Blue Devils (12-8, 9-5 N10).

Seneca East (8-13) almost put five players in double figures in a balanced attack. Tyler Turek led the Tigers from the Northern 10 Conference with 16 points, Clint Wurm tossed in 15 and Jake Forehand netted 10.

Mitch Clark scored 15 points and Johnny Hagemyer tossed in 14 for the Tigers of the Blanchard Valley Conference.
