Rounds of 79 by Noah Brand and Justy VonLehmden were just enough for both to post one-stroke victories and win their age divisions when the Findlay Area Golf Association capped the 2019 season with its annual tournament at the Findlay Country Club.

The top two boys divisions were down-to-the-wire competitive.

Brand’s 79 earned him a one-stroke victory over Seth Lasiter (80) in the 16-18 tournament. Brice McDaniel was a close third with an 81.

It was a carbon-copy finish in the boys 14-15 age bracket, where VonLehmden (79), Henry Rill (80) and Nick Feighner (81) were separated by a single stroke.

In addition to crowning age group champions in Monday’s tournament, FAGA recognized other award-winners as well.
