ELIDA — Columbus Grove’s Alyssa Ellerbrock won the girls race and the Bulldogs captured the boys and girls team titles Tuesday at the Elida Invitational cross country meet at Elida High School.

Ellerbrock finished in 19:02.10 to win by nearly 43 seconds. Grove scored 34 points, topping Van Wert (63) and Kenton (64). Ottawa-Glandorf was last in the six-team girls field with 123 points.

Grove’s Erin Downing was fourth in 20:47.70, Leanndra Price was seventh (21:20.20), Ellie Keehn was 12th (21:50.10) and Sydney Witteborg was 15th (22:20.30).

Allison Schroeder was O-G’s top finisher in 17th place (22:33.60).

Grove’s boys placed five runners in the top 11 to win the boys race with 29 points, ahead of Lincolnview (81) and Van Wert (88). Ottawa-Glandorf was fourth (124). Lima Perry’s Brady Yingst won the boys race in 17:00.30.

Grove’s Caleb Stechschulte was third in 17:15.70, Carson Closson was fifth (17:19.70), Tanner Smith was seventh (17:29.70), Breece Pringle was eighth (17:42.70) and Roy Langhals was 11th (18:09.20).

Kamron Maag was Ottawa-Glandorf’s top finisher in 13th place in 18:19.00.
