COLUMBUS GROVE — Alayna Ricker smacked 12 kills Tuesday and three teammates added eight kills each as Columbus Grove defeated Ada 25-21, 25-23, 25-12 in a Northwest Conference volleyball match.

Becca Choi served three aces, had 24 assists and added eight kills for Grove (4-2, 1-0 NWC). Cassie Heilman and Angel Schneider also had eight kills, Emily Ridinger had nine digs, and Lauren Benroth had 18 assists.

Ada fell to 4-5. 0-1 NWC.

BUCYRUS — Eve Smith and Savannah Kinley each recorded 12 assists to key Upper Sandusky’s 25-10, 25-17, 25-12 Northern 10 Conference victory over Bucyrus on Tuesday.

Emily Hill led with nine kills, and her 15 digs were second to leader Jadyn Smalley’s 24 as the Rams climbed to 3-8 overall, 2-5 N10.

Bucyrus is now 1-9, 0-6.

Kylie Stackhouse recorded a team-high 12 kills with four blocks and an ace and Kylie Monday led with 17 digs for Bluffton (5-3, 1-0 NWC).

Delphos Jefferson fell to 2-7.

Bailey Tanner had 12 digs and five kills for Carey (3-7, 2-4 N10). Row had 10 digs, Wagner added eight digs and Alaina Tiell had five kills. Buckeye Central improved to 8-2, 6-0 N10.

Madi Schroeder had 40 assists and 19 digs for Elmwood (3-8, 1-4 NBC). Brooklyn Thrash had 12 digs and six kills, and Maddie Mossbarger added 14 digs and eight kills.

Genoa improved to 2-8, 1-4 NBC.

TONTOGANY — League-leading Otsego started fast and finished strong on Tuesday in rolling to a 25-13, 25-19, 25-19 Northern Buckeye Conference volleyball win over Fostoria.

Fostoria’s Dashani Taylor had 10 kills, Jasmine Groves added six and Zoe Rice chipped in with five. Groves was 31 of 32 setting with seven assists and Jolie Counts was 16 of 16 setting with six assists. Rice had a team-high 12 digs and Kamari Godfrey added 10.

Otsego improved to 6-1 overall and upped its unbeaten NBC record to 5-0. Fostoria fell to 4-6 overall, 2-3 in the league.

DOLA — Hardin Northern took the third and fourth sets by close margins in earning a 25-13, 15-25, 25-20, 25-23 nonleague volleyball win over Riverdale on Tuesday.

Grace Wetherill led Riverdale (1-5) with 15 kills and four aces. Tayler Ashburn (8 digs) had seven kills and Hannah Galkiewicz added six. Tayler Yoder led the Falcons with 20 assists and Brenna Farmer had 15.
