The University of Findlay women’s soccer team held onto its No. 2 ranking in the latest Division II Midwest Regional poll released on Tuesday.
The Oilers (13-1-1) suffered their first loss of the season to Walsh 2-1 on Saturday before finishing the regular season with a 3-0 win over Tiffin.
Findlay is in action again on Saturday against Malone in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference tournament opener at 2 p.m. Saturday at DeHaven Field.
Grand Valley State (15-1-0) is the top team in the region for the second straight week.
The top eight teams qualify for the Division II national tournament with the top seed hosting all three rounds.

Yuhas, Cederholm named
University of Findlay sophomore Keigan Yuhas was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week on Tuesday.
Yuhas took fourth place at 197 pounds in the Michigan State Open on Saturday.
He pinned Richard Ryu (Illinois) in 39 seconds and won a decision over Cade Dallwitz (Central Michigan).
UF’s Hanna Cederholm was also named the GMAC Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday.
Cederholm totaled six first-place finishes at Saturday’s quad meet at Davenport.
Individually, she won the 100-yard butterfly (59.07), the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.69) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:24.01).
She also swam on the winning relay teams in the 200-yard freestyle (23.92), the 40-yard individual medley (4:00.72) and the 200-medley (1:47.14).
