ARCADIA — Arcadia School’s kindergarten screening for next school year has been announced.

Although the screening is two months away, the school district is asking parents to contact the school now to help the school get an accurate projection.

The district is exploring the possibility of all-day, every-day kindergarten and decisions must be made based on projected enrollment numbers.

Parents are being asked to call and schedule a screening appointment at 419-894-6431, ext. 300.
Kindergarten screening for Arcadia will take place on April 1.

The screening is for children who are residents of the school district, will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, and plan to attend kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year.

Parents must bring a copy of a child’s birth certificate, immunization records, Social Security card and court custody papers (if applicable) to the screening.
