Aspiring writers can attend free writing workshops at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library.

A poetry workshop will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

“Quotes that Pop: Suggestions for Historical Writing” will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30.

A monthly writers’ group meets on the first Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The workshops are led by experienced instructors and are free and open to the public.

No registration is required to attend the workshops. They are held in the Blanchard Room, in the lower level of the library.
