TIFFIN — Television and electronics recycling, sponsored by Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca Joint Solid Waste District, will be held from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday at the Seneca County Fairgrounds, south entrance, Tiffin.

The event is open to Seneca County residents, including all residents of Fostoria. The collection will not include materials from businesses.

There will be a charge to recycle standard glass tube (CRT) televisions only.

Fees for televisions are: 24 inches and smaller, $5 each; 25 inches and larger, $7 each. There is no charge for flat screen LCD or plasma televisions.

Additional materials that will be accepted free include most electronic items: computer monitors, computers and anything that plugs into a computer, cellphones, radios, DVD and VCR players and telephones.
