eunice kecklerWEBFOSTORIA — Eunice R. Keckler, 95, of Fostoria, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria. She was born on September 29, 1919 in Upper Sandusky to the late Forest and Clara (Althauser) Turner. She married Claude W. Keckler on September 16, 1935 in Greenup, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on May 26, 2005.
Eunice is survived by a daughter, Judy (Dennis) Hall of Fostoria; daughter-in-law, Becky Miller of Fostoria; grandchildren, Katie (Tod) Six, Casey (Laura) Keckler, Keith Hall Sr., and Kerri (Daniel) Harmon; 10 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her sons, Billy and Randy Keckler; brothers, Dale and Harold Turner; and sisters, Evelyn Keckler and Donna Zender.
Eunice was a homemaker. She attended the Upper Room Church of God in Findlay, enjoyed the activities at Good Shepherd, and gardening, but her life was her family.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Reverend Terry McBeath officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the Good Shepherd Activities fund or Upper Room Church of God.
