arbogastdennisTIFFIN — Dennis L. Arbogast, 43, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 24, 2016 at the University of Toledo Medical Center.
He was born on June 14, 1973 in Tiffin, Ohio to Harlan C. and Rosemary (Schreiner) Arbogast. On April 10, 2015, he married Shannon Peck.
Survivors include his parents, Harlan and Rosemary Arbogast of Tiffin; wife, Shannon of Tiffin; stepson, Pvt. Brennen Emerine of Fort Benning, GA; stepdaughter, Leandra Emerine of Tiffin; six brothers, James (Michelle) Arbogast of Curtice, Bruce (Jenny Burns) Arbogast of AL, Douglas (Lisa Stein) Arbogast, Justin (Brandi) Arbogast, Roger (Tammy) Arbogast and Steve (Yvonne) Arbogast, all of Tiffin; eight sisters, Carol (Denny) Lofay of New Riegel, Sandra (Mark) Sexton of KY, Tina (Tim Wise) Elchert of Tiffin, Phyllis (Brian) Ream of Tiffin, Wanda (Roger) Jordan of Republic, Joanne Perkins of Tiffin, Melissa (Timothy) Wagner of Old Fort and Jessica (Parker) Bloom of Tiffin; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Catherine Pierce Mckenzie.
Dennis was baptized in St. Mary Catholic Church, graduated from Hopewell Loudon High School in 1991 and from Terra Technical College and worked at Alvada Construction Company as an electrician. He was a Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed tailgating at their games and was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Dennis was very resourceful and thrifty, was always helping others, enjoyed being with his family and friends and lived life to the fullest. Dennis enjoyed playing poker, telling jokes and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Kishore Kottana officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Friends and family may gather at his parents’ home from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to F.A.C.T. or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
