Meridith Max Clark, Captain, USMC, retired, passed away on Dec. 8, 2016. He was born in Findlay, Ohio on March 10, 1925 to Ralph and Edna (Hawk) Clark. He married Wilma Cox in 1953. Max served 22 years as a pilot in the US Marines. In 1970 they moved to Boise, ID where they owned and operated a Dairy Queen for over a decade. They then built a cabin in the mountains of Pine, ID where he lived until his death. Max was preceded in death by both parents, his wife of 62 years, Wilma, and a son Tim. He is survived by a daughter Sandy Jones, two grandchildren, Megan Garner and Damon Jones, four great-grandchildren and a brother, Eugene Clark of McComb. A viewing will be held Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Boise Funeral Home Acleasa Chapel 8209 W. Fairview Ave., with full military service and burial to follow at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery.
