Services for Clayborn White Jr will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Price – McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor David Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017.
He died at 4 a.m. Sunday December 24, 2017 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born on August 15, 1939 in Hazzard, Kentucky to Clayborn White, Sr. and Arminda (Herold) White. On Octber 29, 1960 he married Karen Hall and she survives in Dunkirk.
Also surviving are four sons, Clayborn (Janes) White III of Dunkirk, Kash (Isabel) White of Dunkirk, Kelly White of Dunkirk and Allison (Emily Long) White of Ada. Two sisters, Charlotte Bowers of Kenton and Laura Pauley of Dunkirk. Grandchildren Crystal, Ciera, Karen, Jarrett and Landon, six great-grandchildren and several nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Hobart White and two brothers-in-law, Jack Bowers and James Pauley.
Clayborn was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.
He loved to work, especially when it came to his own excavating company; K&C Enterprises. He also liked working on cars and working with his hands. He enjoyed camping, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling to Kentucky.
The family has requested that everyone dress casual.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bridge Hospice.
