Marjorie Irene Oglesbee, 86, of Piqua and formerly of Findlay, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles, Ohio.
Marjorie was born in McComb, Ohio to the late Guy and Mildred (Snyder) Mapes. Marjorie is survived by her children: Denise (Art) Millet of Piqua, Ohio; Susan (Scott) Schulze of Sidney, Ohio and Michael (Ruth) Nusbaum of Celina, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson, sister: Marlene (Jack) Harden of McComb; brother: Larry Mapes of McComb. Marjorie was preceded in death by her sisters: Doris Clark and Diane Harden.
Marjorie worked at RCA in Findlay and enjoyed fishing, dancing, cooking and loved being in the garden where she loved to plant flowers and vegetables, and she had a very green thumb. She loved making jewelry, especially earrings, necklaces and rings and was a certified locksmith. In her spare time, she would love attending yard sales, auctions and going to Goodwill, with her family always looking for a bargain.
A Celebration of Marjorie’s life will be on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the HARTLEY-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 370 Park Dr. S, McComb, Ohio 45858. Interment will follow in the McComb Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be gifted in Marjorie’s honor to a hospice of the donors’ choice.
