Jacob “Jake” Austin Carman, 25, of Lakewood CO left this world Thursday, February 7th 2018. He was born in Findlay, OH on December 8th, 1992. He married his high school sweetheart Monique A. Redburn on December 31st, 2016 and she survives. Jacob is survived by his parents, Babette Carman-Grieser and William “Don” Carman (Stephanie Logsdon) of Findlay. Also surviving are his younger brother, Zachary Carman, step-brother Austin Grieser, and his niece Melody June; Grandparents Tom and Karen Regna of South Carolina, Don and Betty Carman of Findlay, Russell and Reggie Stahl of Findlay, Martin and Marsha Grieser of Findlay.
Jacob was preceded in death by his sister, Ashley Carman, and Step-Father Chris Grieser.
Jake was an Arlington High School graduate, where he played on the club soccer team all four years. His main hobbies included snowboarding, soccer, playing guitar, and attending concerts with his wife and friends.
He deeply loved his wife Monique, and they shared many interests. They moved from Findlay, Ohio to Lakewood, Colorado, in July 2017 where they frequently hiked and gained many new memories together. Jake had so much love to give, and was loved by many. His sense of humor could change the mood in a room in just seconds.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, OH on Saturday February, 17th 2018. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. “” 12:00 p.m., with the service immediately following. Pastor Steve Edmiston will officiate. After the service, please join us in a celebration of his life also held at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
