WHARTON — Christopher E. Pratt, 54, of Wharton, died at 7:13 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
Born February 9, 1964 in Findlay, OH, he was the son of Arthur E. “Ernie” Pratt and Constance (Ritter) Komarek. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Tucson, AZ. He married Cherie Taylor on May 11, 2002.
Surviving are four children: Amber (Tony) Hilvers, Ashley (Brandin Goble) Pratt, Lakota Bell, and Wyatt Pratt, four grandchildren, and three sisters: Wendy (Debera Waltman) Strozeski, Misty (Ron) Beadnell, and Arica (Chris) Cover.
He was preceded in death by a step-father James Komarek.
A 1982 graduate of Carey High School, he worked for Budd Company and Continental Hose.
He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Carey.
Chris loved fishing, hunting wild game, arrowhead hunting, and mushroom hunting. He considered the woods to be his sanctuary. He was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan.
Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. – noon on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at STOMBAUGH-BATTON FUNERAL HOME in Carey.
A memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, with Rev. Karen Rogers officiating.
