FremonT — Carol G. Boger, 84, died Friday, March 2, 2018 at Fremont, Ohio.
Carol was born November 12, 1933 to the late Edward and Caroline Bakle.
On July 14, 1951 she was united in marriage to Clyde Richard “Dick” Boger.
She graduated from Mark Center High School in 1951. She furthered her education by graduating from Bowling Green State University with a teaching degree and later earned her Masters Degree. She spent 30 years teaching at the Central Local Schools.
She was a member of the Sherwood United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. Carol loved and collected teddy bears. She was also an avid bowler. Most of all she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving Carol are her children Mike Boger of Green Springs, OH; Jim (Deborah) Boger of Arcadia, OH; Bill Boger of Oak Harbor, OH; Kathy (Bryon) Fry of Burgoon, OH and Greg Boger (Dale Ludwig) of Chicago, IL. Carol was the grandmother of eleven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, KT; three sisters and a brother.
The funeral for Carol will be at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, Ohio, on Thursday at 11:00. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 and also one hour prior to the funeral.
Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.
