Anita F. Inbody, 96, of Findlay, died on Monday, March, 12, 2018, at Bridge Hospice Care Center of Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was born February 20, 1922 in Liberty Township, Hancock County, to the late Clarence A. and Myrtle (Page) Sherick. Anita is survived by her husband of almost 75 years, Emerson R. Inbody, who she married on April 15, 1943. She is also survived by a sister, Doris (Ted) Evans of Gainesville, Fla.; two daughters, Sheryl (Barry) Wilson of Findlay and Linda (Donald) Steinman of Arlington; five grandchildren, Christopher Wilson of Columbus, Ohio, Jennifer Wilson of Chicago, Ill., Kara (Emil) DeMusz of Springfield, Ohio, Deron (Tabitha) Steinman of Arlington, and Eric (Sarah) Steinman of Findlay; great-grandchildren Kylie, Bryce, and Sophia; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wendell Sherick. Anita graduated from Van Buren High School in 1940 as Salutatorian of her class. She worked as a secretary at the ASC Office in Findlay before becoming a devoted full-time homemaker and farming assistant to her husband. Anita was a wonderful, caring wife and mother. Anita enjoyed gardening, farming, fishing, playing cards, sewing, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In retirement, she and Emerson enjoyed over 30 years of wintering in Estero, Fla. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. The family will have a private graveside service at Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health & Hospice of Blanchard Valley Hospital.
