Richard Lawrence “Dick” Regan, 79, of Findlay passed away at 4:35 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at his residence. On March 29, 1939 he was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Edward L. and Ruth (Rooney) Regan. On Nov. 23, 1957, he married Marilyn J. Berkoski and she survives. Also surviving are their seven daughters, Jean Regan of VA; Patricia (Kyle) Baughman of Fostoria; Doreen (Mike) Frantz of Bluffton; Sharon (Dan) Lewis of Bowling Green; Ruth Regan-Myers of McComb; Renee (Dan) Johnson of Findlay and Barbara (Eric) Russell of Ottawa; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren and a sister, Sarah Regan of NE. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Frantz, a sister, Nora Regan; son-in-law, Kevin Myers and a step-grandson, Mike Smith. Richard was a 1956 graduate of St. Edward High School and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Findlay in 1986. Dick retired from Dow Chemical Company as a Quality Performance Manager in 1994, following 35 years of service. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, the Elks, Moose and AMVETS. He was an avid OSU, Browns, Cavs and Indians fan and enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (downtown) with Father Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Findlay. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
