Charlotte Louise Taylor, 87, of Findlay passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on January 4, 1931 to the late Ray G. and Avalene (Daniels) Corfman. She married William E. Taylor on August 30, 1953 and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2000.
Charlotte is survived by her daughters: Jennifer L. (Patrick) Pasterick of Fort Wayne, IN and Suzan M. Moriarty of Fort Wayne, IN; her brother: Stanley R. Corfman of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren: Evan William Moriarty, Taylor Nicole Moriarty, Madisen Alena Pasterick, and Grant William Pasterick; many nieces and nephews; her brother-in-law: Donald Richard (Jean) Taylor; and her sisters-in-law: Marilyn Butte of Indian Lake, OH, Thelma Hankins of Findlay, and Barbara Taylor of Arcadia.
Charlotte graduated from Kenton High School in 1948 and worked as a secretary at Marathon Oil. She left Marathon in 1961 to raise her family.
Charlotte was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and Guidelights CCL. She loved to garden and travel, was an avid reader, and a huge fan of the Ohio State football team.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery, Kenton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Schedel Arboretum & Gardens, and/or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, IN.
