Dennis Galvin of Buckeye, AZ., passed away in his sleep May 27, 2018. He was born in Charles City, Iowa on July 12, 1949. After graduation Denny proudly served in the US Army, and fought in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in January 1970. After returning from Vietnam he began working at Hancor on May 16, 1971 until retirement on June 30, 2013. He started in Oelwein, IA and was transferred, first to Fairmont, MN, then to Chesaning, MI, then to Findlay, Ohio and ended his career in Phoenix, AZ. After retirement he did his favorite thing and that was GOLF.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover H. and Sadie J (Turner) Galvin and a brother Alan Galvin.
He leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Nancy (Bush) Galvin of Buckeye, AZ; Children: Renee Lynn (Galvin) Snay of Oelwein, IA, Zahn Krava of Baltimore, OH, Larry Richard Pahl of Findlay, OH, William Joe Pahl of Daleville, VA, and Mrs. Matthew (Joey Kay Pahl) Trimpey of Bowling Green, OH, and a total of 10 grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Rita Baldwin of Florida and a half-brother, Gary Galvin of Phoenix, AZ.
Denny had many friends that he considered family and was lucky to have them in his life. Each one held a special place in his heart.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. June 12, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, 1526 East Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
