ARLINGTON — Muriel L. (Essinger) Musgrave, 93, peacefully passed away on October 11, 2018 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Findlay Ohio.

She was born on December 19, 1924 to Orville J Essinger and Florence (Longbrake) Essinger in Arlington Ohio. She was a life-long Arlington resident, attending Arlington High School and graduating in the class of 1942. She married Leo R Musgrave on April 27, 1945. She taught elementary school in Rawson Ohio during the years of 1944-1946. After taking some years off to raise her own 6 children, she attended Bowling Green State University and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education in 1968. She taught elementary school in Arlington from 1961-1988, when she then retired.

She was a life member of the Arlington United Methodist Church. She was a member of the ECHO of Arlington, Ohio Retired Teachers Association and the Hancock County Retired Teachers Organization. She volunteered at the Arlington Elementary School after retiring. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by her husband Leo and her 6 children: Michael L (Ruth Anne) Musgrave of Findlay; Robert L (Susan) Musgrave of Burlington, Wisconsin; Mathew Musgrave of Arlington; Jill Ryerson (John) of Chardon, Ohio; Jack (Rita dec.) Musgrave of Arlington; David (Marcia) Musgrave, Arlington.

Grandchildren include: Ryan (Jennifer) Musgrave, Kelly (Jason) Andres, Sarah (Ben) Bilitz, Philip Musgrave, Robert (Fallon) Ryerson, Heather (James Flanders) Ryerson, Erica (Steven) Eppard, Emily (Chip) Develvis, Eli Musgrave, Lynne (Vince) Perlik, Diana (Nick) Inbody, Jon (Bianca) Musgrave, and Brian Musgrave.

She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren: Emma Musgrave, Karli Andres, Anna, Lydia, and Isaac Bilitz, Vivian and Evelyn Musgrave, Jackson, Weston, and Nolan Ryerson, Phoebe, Daphne, and Fiona Devilvis, Reese Musgrave, Owen Perlik, Ethan, Arden, and Avery Inbody, Quinn and Reagan Musgrave.

She is also survived by nieces, Anne Rogers Bunnel, Lisa Rogers and Christine (Musgrave) Beard.

One sister, Jeanette Rogers, and daughter-in-law, Rita (Ellis) Musgrave preceded her in death.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Arlington. Services will be at the United Methodist Church in Arlington on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Additional visitation will also be one hour prior to the services at the church.
