Mary Ellen Bauman went to meet her Lord on August 9, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker, grandmother and great-grandma. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was born on August 25, 1927 to Mary E. (Daniels) and Samuel Dayringer. She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1945.
She married Gail James (Jim) Clemans on September 28, 1947 in Covington, Ky. He preceded her in death in 1993. She married Jim Hull in 1994 and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2010. She married Carl J. Bauman on February 12, 2011 and he preceded her in death on September 28, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Frank) Mramor of Whitehouse, OH; grandchildren Kimberlee (Jason) Weaver of Warner Robins, GA, Alexa (Ben) Farley of Perrysburg, OH, Karri (Ben) Tansel of Toledo, OH, Amanda (Jeremy) Tirey of Toledo, OH, Aaron (Danielle) Clemans of North Balitmore, OH; and Carla Reigs, special friend and cousin of Findlay, OH. Great-grandchildren, Keith, Kody, Sage, Sawyer, Emerson, Arabella, Caylee, Danielle, Elaina, Emmett, Landen, Kyler, Carter, Travant and Lykaiso. She is survived by many loving nephews & nieces.
Preceding her in death were her sisters, Thelma, Maxine, Fentres (Virgil), Gladys (Don); brother, Frank (Bina); son, Jeffery Clemans; nephew, Steven (Larna); granddaughters, Erica, Krista; & great-grandson, Joshua.
She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She was an active member and always helped where she was needed. She loved to sew and knit. She had a great love of playing cards and board games.
Mary Ellen donated her body to the Department of Neurosciences at the University of Toledo in hopes of advancing medical science. There will be no service, but those wishing to can make donations in Mary Ellen’s memory to Salem Methodist Church.
