Hope and George Korte were among the approximately 200 volunteers to participate in National Wreaths Across America Day at Maple Grove Cemetery on Saturday. About 1,100 wreaths were placed in Findlay as part of the effort, where volunteers say a veteran’s name out loud before setting an 18-inch live evergreen wreath at the grave. People participated at more than 1,400 locations across the United States, at sea and abroad. (Photo by Kevin Bean / The Courier)
