Demolition crews raze the former Holmes Elementary School building this week. The school, as well as the former Riley Elementary and Longfellow Elementary schools, are being torn down as part of Fostoria City Schools’ building project, which has put all students grades preK-12 on one central campus. When school started last month, students in grades preK-6 moved to Fostoria Elementary School on H.L. Ford Drive. The building was renovated and expanded to make room for the additional students.
