ALL Excavating & Demolition, of McComb, tears through the roof of a house on Howard Street recently. The residence was one of five University of Findlay-owned houses that were razed to provide additional campus green space. The demolished houses were located at 337, 341, 401 and 403 Howard St., and at 331 College St. The homes had been used for student housing, but their maintenance costs no longer justified their continued upkeep, the university said. UF is considering long-term options for the spaces, but for now, the area will remain construction-free. (Photo provided to The Courier)
