Demolition began Friday on an empty building at 213 N. Main St., which was damaged by fire in February. The old apartment building was the only building remaining on the east side of North Main Street between the Blanchard River and Center Street. The owner of the building is listed as Findlay North Main Street LLC on the Hancock County Auditor’s website. Many of the other buildings in that section of North Main Street were bought and demolished by Hancock County as part of its flood-reduction efforts. (Photo by Ashley Donaldson)
