Habitat to dedicate 3 homes Tuesday

FINDLAY — Habitat for Humanity of Findlay-Hancock County will celebrate the completion of three new homes with a home dedication ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Bishop Lane. The public is invited to join Habitat staff, volunteers, sponsors and community members as the Justice (Home #68), Karsenay (Home #69) and Sparks (Home #70) families receive the keys to their new homes and begin a new chapter in their lives. The dedication marks the culmination of months of hard work by the partner families, who contributed sweat equity hours alongside volunteers and participated in financial education and homeownership preparation through Habitat's program. "Home dedications are some of the most meaningful moments in Habitat's work," said Warren Long, executive director. "These homes represent perseverance, partnership, and a community coming together to help families achieve the dream of homeownership." Throughout the spring, hundreds of volunteers and generous sponsors helped construct the homes in Habitat's Krystal Ridge Addition. The completed homes provide safe, stable and affordable housing for three local families and reinforce Habitat's mission of building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.
