Huron County indicts 13

NORWALK — A grand jury recently indicted 13 people for alleged crimes committed in Huron County.Among the indicted was Bellevue resident Ryan Herner, 43, who faces charges of tampering with evidence, failure to stop after a crash, driving under suspension, two counts of aggravated drug possession and five counts of operating a vehicle under the influence.The indictment states he was in possession of drugs — amphetamine and fentanyl — and was under the influence of several drugs the day of a crash in December. He has a summons to appear in the Huron County Common Pleas Court for an arraignment on May 20.Others recently indicted include:• Michael Griggs, 48, of Norwalk, two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence, fourth-degree felonies• Heather Sutter, 21, of Lucas, Ohio, two counts of forgery• Clifford Waugh, 58, of Greenwich, failure to provide notice of address change• Ian Creary, 29, of Norwalk, two counts each of assault, aggravated menacing and resisting arrest• Peter Bouquin, 23, of Massillon, two counts each of marijuana possession, marijuana trafficking, drug possession and drug trafficking and three counts of operating a vehicle under the influence.• Stephanie Pack, 39, of Milan, evidence tampering• Jeffrey Barnett, 59, of Willard, domestic violence• Ryan Davis, 29, of Norwalk, failure to verify address and two counts of failure to provide notice of address change• Derik Ross, 29, of Norwalk, assault and harassment with a bodily substance• Randal Marfia, 43, of Willard, domestic violence and two counts of disrupting a public service• Vanessa Beers, 24, of Plymouth, burglary and obstructing official business• Patrick Spearman, 30, of Bellevue, domestic violence and unlawful restraintAn indictment is a formal charge and does not denote guilt or innocence.Reach reporter Michael Harrington at michaelharrington@sanduskyregister.com, follow the Register at Facebook.com/SanduskyRegisterThe Huron County Common Pleas Court in Norwalk.
