City man killed in crash

A Findlay man was killed Saturday evening when his motorcycle was struck head-on by a car on a Seneca County road, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported. According to the patrol, a 2020 Ford Fusion driven by Tiffany Robertson, 35, of Findlay, was driving east on County Road 59 at 5:25 p.m. when the car went off the left side of the road before swerving back onto the westbound lane and colliding with a 2005 Honda Shadow driven by Jeremy Martinez, 35, of Findlay. Following impact, the car went off the right side of the roadway and struck a mailbox before coming to rest in the roadway. According to the patrol, Martinez, who was ejected from his motorcycle, suffered fatal injuries and was taken from the scene by the Seneca County Coroner's Office. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the patrol reported. Robertson was not injured, the patrol reported. The accident remains under investigation, and alcohol or drug usage is unknown at this time, according to the patrol. Assisting at the scene were the Seneca County Sheriff's Office, New Riegel Fire Department, Seneca County EMS and D&D Towing.
