Findlay man charged in woman's death

A Findlay man was indicted Tuesday by a Hancock County grand jury with a first-degree felony in the drug-related death of a Findlay woman last October. Lance A. Crane, 37, of 429 Elm St., was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Kable A. Deidrick, 34, on Oct. 19. The indictment accuses Crane of causing Deidrick's death. He was also charged with corrupting Deidrick with drugs, a second-degree felony. In the latter charge, Crane is accused of furnishing Kable with fentanyl. In other indictments issued Tuesday: Tyler M. Courtney, 22, of 519 Barnett St., was charged with a second-degree felony count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Ariel M. Miller, 22, of 2040 Breckenridge Road, was charged with a second-degree felony count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Carson T. Fuqua, 52, of 344 Midland Ave., was charged with a second-degree felony count of escape. His indictment alleges that Fuqua, while under detention for a felonious assault offense, purposely failed to return to detention following temporary leave granted for a specific purpose or limited period. Cedric D. Slough, 22, of 248 Monroe Ave., was charged with a second-degree felony count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Christopher D. Allen, 49, of 811 McConnell St., was charged with failure to comply with an order or signal from a police officer, a third-degree felony. Allen is alleged to have operated a motor vehicle to willfully flee a police officer after being signaled or ordered by the officer to stop. Shawn M. Cox, 37, of 1307 Morey Ave., was charged with a fourth-degree felony count of failure to appear in Hancock County Common Pleas Court as required in a drug-related case. Jeremy R. Noel, 23, of 7453 Township Road 123, McComb, was charged with receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony, and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Waylon L. Thomason, 41, of 1957 Breckenridge Road, was charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. Heather Patterson, 39, of 209 Ash Ave., was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
