FORT JENNINGS — A funeral Mass for Mercedes L. Cox, 25, of Fort Jennings, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City, the Rev. Charles Singler officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Kalida. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, with a scripture service at 2:45 p.m. Masks are required due to the restrictions regarding COVID-19. Ms. Cox died at 7:32 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020, at her parents' residence. Surviving are her parents, Jody and Melinda (Garberson) Cox, both of Miller City; a her son, Braxton Cox; a special friend, Jason Mueller of Fort Jennings; two brothers, Michael (Faith Butler) Cox and Marcus Cox, both of Miller City; and a sister, Maria Cox of Miller City.
