FOSTORIA — Due to COVID-19, private funeral and visitation services for Maria "Mere" Capetillo, 95, of Fostoria, will be held at Hoening & Son Funeral Home, Fostoria, the Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens, west of Arcadia. Mrs. Capetillo died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at her residence. She married Hilario Capetillo, and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Odilia "Lee" (Robert) Hernandez of Fostoria and Ann (Charlie) Rinker of Findlay; three sons, Hilario (Fran) Capetillo Jr., Victor (Julie) Capetillo, and Richard (Cim) Capetillo, all of Fostoria; six sisters, Juanita Enriquez Avila and Ramona Sanchez, both of Pemberville, Angelina Hernandez of Clyde, Armendina Rodriquez of Chicago, Lupe Sanchez and Susie Garn, both of Fostoria; and a brother, Joe Hernandez of Fostoria.
