LEIPSIC — Leipsic built a 37-21 lead at the half, then unleashed a 30-point third quarter in rolling to an 81-39 boys basketball win over Hardin Northern. Leipsic's Jaden Siefker was 5-for-5 on 3-pointers and scored a game-high 24 points. Mason Brandt scored 18 points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out seven assists and had three steals for the Vikings, who won their sixth straight and climbed to 11-1. Hempfling, a junior out of Ottawa-Glandorf High School, achieved her 300th career assist in the game, becoming only the second player in BG history with 300 assists and 500 career rebounds.
