Brodine shatters career rebounding record for FHS girls

Kaylee Brodine broke one rebounding record on Thursday. Saturday, the Findlay High senior took down another. Brodine scored 22 points and grabbed 21 rebounds on Saturday in leading the Trojans to a 54-36 win over Springfield. Coupled with Thursday's FHS single-game record 23 rebounds in a 65-19 win over Oregon Clay, Saturday's total gave her the school career rebounding record with 792. Bri Nichols added 10 points and Aubrey Hucke, Olivia Mangas and Reegan Hayward all had six. Kelsey Shindeldecker scored four points and dished out three assists for the Trojans, who won for the eighth time in their last 11 games to even thier record at 8-8. A'Leah Hodges scored 12 points for Springfield. The Blue Devils made only three 2-point baskets, and scored 27 of their 36 total points by hitting nine 3-pointers.
