Riverdale keeps BVC hopes alive with comeback win over Red Devils

BOYS BASKETBALL MOUNT BLANCHARD – With its hopes of a share of the Blanchard Valley Conference championship in deep trouble, Riverdale came up with a big fourth quarter to stun Arlington. Thomas Miller finished with 13 points, Landon Holland added 12 and Riverdale outscored the Red Devils 19-9 in the final period to win, 47-40. The Falcons improved to 13-8, 7-2 in the BVC. They play at Pandora-Gilboa Friday. The winner of that game will secure a share of the championship. Arlington got 13 points from Bryce Gast, and 11 points from Brandon Hull.
